Was it just a Dream?[Open]

Jackie curled up into a ball with her partner, BlackAgumon beside her, falling asleep symotaniously. Suddenly, Jackie appeared floating above nothing. She looked around. There didn't seem to be anything around her. It was completely blank. "Hello?" She asked with a bit of hesitation. Suddenly, a ball of light appeared, a bit far away from Jackie. "Black...Agumon?" Jackie asked with hesitation once again. Suddenly, the orb became dark orange and looked like a ball of digisoul. The digisoul began to expand and mold into the shape of a tyrannosaurous, rex with a helmet and horns. It was in the shape of a GeoGreymon but before she could find out what it was, she woke up to a banging on the door. She turned the other way to see BlackAgumon, staring at her. "Is somthing wrong?" Jackie asked. "Did you have a nightmare?" He answered with another question but Jackie decided not to fight it. After all he was her partner. "No, just a dream...I think.." Suddenly the pounding got louder. "Ah! I'm coming!"

The teenaged boy waited at the door for someone to answer, he knocked again a bit louder this time, and a few moments later he heard the words "I'm coming!" from inside. He waited and played with his fingers trying to pass by the few seconds that felt like minutes. He wasn't very good at making friends, but he had just decided to try to make some and had seen this girl outside the other day playing with the other kids.

Jackie tried to get to the door but BlackAgumon got to it first. "Who is it?" He asked. The BlackDinosaur opened the door to see a male about Jackie's age with straight white hair and green eyes. He was pretty tall too. Jackie froze in fear. What was he going to do? Was he going to run away? Was he going to think he was in a costume? All she could do know was wait.

The door opened and his heart skipped a beat, he then saw what was at the door. He stood there in fear not sure what to do. He looked at the black dino and was wondering what and why that thing was there, was it one of those digimon things he had back at home..? He hadn't known much about it, but he took it in because it was cute and looked fuzzy so he thought it would make a great pet. After he realised he had been standing there thinking for a good 15 to 30 seconds he looked at the dino and muttered "H..Hi.. does a girl with blue hair live here..?"

BlackAgumon cleared his throat. "Yo, Jackie! We have a visitor!" Jackie snapped out of her trance and walked over to the door. "Hi..." She stated, trying to start a conversation. Her fox ears, collar and tail were already on at this point. Of course, BlackAgumon didn't leave Jackie's side. He had to make sure his partner was safe. It was one of the jobs of a partner after all.

He smiled and waved. He wasn't sure what to say, he hadn't talked to a lot of girls...well a lot of anybody in reality. He was basically friendless and that was partially the reason he took in the little fuzzy thing that was known as a Digimon. He looked at the blue haired girl, and said "Uhm.... what is that little dinosaur thing you have there... aren't they exctinct?" He looked at the black dino some more inspecting it, trying to get every detail out of it wondering what it was doing here. Just then a better question popped into his head, this thing can talk!?

"Oh...umm..." Jackie mumbled. 'Crap I gotta think of somthing quick! C'mon, Jackie! Think!' Out of panic, the blue headed girl managed to slip out "He's my little brother.". "LITTLE WHA-" But before BlackAgumon could finish his sentance, Jackie closed his mouth shut, preventing it to make out any more words. "It's a costume! Dinosaurs arent around anymore silly!" She informed out of panic as she patted BlackAgumon on the head.

He chuckled and thought to himself that this was interesting. He knew that something was up but he wanted to play along, maybe he could earn this girls trust with her secret of this dinosaur. He had thought to himself for a few seconds and came to the conclusion that she had stolen the egg from a museum and had tamed it and made it into some kind of super human dinosaur. He looked to blue headed girl and said "So... what's your name?" He said shyly as playing with his fingers once again.

Before Jackie could even process her response, BlackAgumon budded in again. Of course, he didn't trust this kid one bit. "Her name is "aren't nerds extinct"?!" The dinosaur growled. Even though he thought about getting comeback on her for calling him, her "little brother", he decided not to. She did afterall, had a good reason. "Oh, and its common curtisy to state your own name first!"

"oh.." He looked down ashamed of himself, he knew he was going to make a mistake somewhere but he wasn't sure why this dinosaur was so mad at him. He said in a low voice "My name is Corey... but most people just call me Yoshi...". He blushed a bit and then again politely asked the names of the two standing in the doorway.
